Eric Lauwers is an experienced CEO, board member, transformation expert and keynote speaker.

Known for his strategic vision and people-first approach, Eric has built a career leading business transformations that deliver both growth and engagement.

With over 35 years of leadership experience at top-tier companies, he combines entrepreneurial thinking with operational excellence. As CEO of Arvesta, he transformed the company into a future-proof agrobusiness group — growing revenue from €1.3 to €2 billion while boosting people engagement from 64 to 91.

Before that, at AB InBev, Eric led several business units including BeNeFraLux (€2.5 billion turnover), consistently raising performance and engagement levels. His leadership journey began at Mars, followed by senior roles at Nutricia and Palm. Most recently, as CEO of Crop’s, he designed and launched a five-year transformation plan to prepare the company for its next growth phase.

Recognized as Marketeer of the Year (2001) and winner of over 25 business awards, Eric is known for turning strategy into sustainable results — and for inspiring teams to achieve what once seemed impossible.
